Studio 1 - Pitch Presentation Feedback

Today I pitched my magazine idea. I was offered a lot of constructive feedback and have been able to take on board some suggestion that will further improve my design.

Key suggestions that will be implement in final design:

- Creating a magazine with 2 front pages that allows readers to start at either end.

The existing theme of the magazine being separated into two styles as explained in my brief works well with this idea. By using this method it creates a greater comparison between the two halves and creates opportunities for more interesting elements and arrangements. One idea was a dividing page in the centre of the magazine that is comprised of an image from the town in the 70's and on the other side an image from the same location but in 2016. This will also be accompanied by text stating "then" and "now", or something along those lines. This idea i think also emphasises the "Byron then and now" message that was earlier discussed in the brief.

- Suggestions for sources of photos and content were offered aswell.
